Happy Halloween

We got pumpkins a little late this year - I almost forgot about getting one. Thanks to Berna for reminding me on our way home from Party Depot last night. I had to get a witch make up for the Fall-O-Ween event at work tomorrow. I will go in as a witch doctor. I'll be in scrubs and lab coat with matching stethoscope, and witch's hat.

Anyway, we carved our two pumpkins tonight for the trick-or-treaters' enjoyment tomorrow evening.

I carved the big one, and Berna and Jackie carved the little one. Jackie picked the design for both. Couple of years ago I participated in pumpkin carving contest at work. I carved Mario (Nintendo character) on my pumpkin and I won! I did not expect to win - I only joined to get the free pumpkin LOL. Also, I wanted to give carving a try since I had never done it before. The Mario theme was for my gamer daughter. Well, this year she wanted Bowser. My personal choice was Princess Peach, but Jackie asked to reserve it for next year.... Bowser won?

Here are our pumpkins. I took pictures with flash and no flash.
